In our world we have a lot of people to hang out with, we gaze hundreds of people in a day at work but still, we hardly know them and who they are. Overall there are 7.7 Billion minds on this planet to connect with. Even though we have such a large scale of uniqueness, we choose one or two to become our best connection where we share our stories, making them to be a part of us and sometimes, we love those minds more than ours. This condition of life is called Friendship. In this condition, time freezes, negative thoughts are persuaded by innocence, every outcome of sorrow will become a beacon of hope. We humans, observe friendship from a different perspective and consider it as the best way to communicate with the person with freedom.

Since we all know how good friendship can be in one’s life based on my experience, my side of the story about friendship is a little different from others. Ever since from my childhood, family members are my friends until each of them grown apart leaving our family nuclear. I had friends from school and college. Those friendships were never on the broader side and I never knew about the true friendship which is outside of my family. As a young boy, my perspective about it was more dominant. All of my friends were looking out for me, cared for me irrespective of what they were doing on my back, they all were like a family. Until I grow up, I had no difference for friends & family. They both were the same.

As I went to study my graduation, part of my life changed where my family split up on both sides (Mother & Father’s family). That time I had no idea of what this world might be and I am just exposed without the guard. My understanding of friendship was like it is similar to the family where friends don’t give up on each other, having each other’s back, helping in difficult times and more than that they don’t cheat on others part.

I was introduced to a guy in my graduation who was also my pre-university mate. I was with him as his family and treated him as one. Both together we had a great time in our college. We went to movies, bowling, visited places and spent money. That was the time of my life and the best company I had after my family parted their ways. I trusted this guy more than I ever trusted myself and been with him for everything by giving him support for the things where he considered me as the one and shared a lot of his kinds of stuff. Till this date, he is the only friend in boys who I trusted the most and had a hopeful thought about achieving big with him someday.

In our life, we meet people who remind us about what we stand for. Meeting with that kind of people help us to see our potential to take up life and work through it. The guy I mentioned in the last paragraph, taught me that. For having a great time with him for so long, I had to pay a price at the end. Everything in life comes for a price that we can’t predict what would it be while we are enjoying the company. This guy snatched the most valuable person of my life where it left me with agony. There was innocence, cuteness, childishness, beauty, loyalty, logic, love and epic friendship before he snatched everything from me for his selfishness. What he did is another story to tell, I just never want to remember that forever.

We trust our friends because, we have to in some circumstances where we left with no choice. When we have a few people around us, we trust nearly good ones but, those will become our worst nightmares when we find there are lot of good in this world.

This was the saddest part of my friendship story. Please let me know yours in the comment. In the next part, I tell you the best one(s). Few friends cared for me more than I cared for them. Those are unforgettable who helped my life to find a new path with exposure.

We can find friendships that are subtle and beautiful. I don’t have that kind of friendship at least now. There is a friend of mine, she is there with me from my pre-primary till now. There is a quote which tells about relationships, “The 7-Year itch”. It is a physiological term that suggests that happiness in a relationship declines after around year seven of a marriage. I heard this stands for all relationships and it quite worked out well in my life. The friends who stood by me for more than 7 years, are still there in my life caring for me. The ones who were not there, are not here.

We can’t determine a friendship by its duration, love between friends is more than that. It depends on how happy and how inspiring we spend time with them. More of the memories, stronger will be our bond. Connection with friends is determined by how sweet the memories are. If that friendship exists even after 7 years and you are still making sweet memories out of it, that is where epic friendship originates.

I believe 90% of friendships we find are not epic, they just make out, enjoy one’s company and leave. We know this world is moving fast and so does people moving out of relationships. We can hardly find that kind of relationship these days. I researched over a thousand relationships and friendships; they all seem to be perfect at the start and as days pass, dominance, ego, and self-respect take pride and that breaks everything in a movement.

My epic friendship is almost 20 years old now and we are still the same, childish, talkative and free-minded. We still those old memories from our childhood and also personal and professional outcomes. She cares for me more than I care for her. She had my back when I lost and helped me to get out of it. She also made me laugh when I needed to smile the most. Like her, I have a few other people where I can call them as friends and look out for me in my hardest of times.

Even after losing the person who mattered most to me by the guy I trusted the most, things went well for me because of the influence I made to some people. They trusted me and cared for me in my life and never let me down in anything. They often say how special I am to them but, they never say I am special because I have them in my life. This is where we find real friendships in our life. Those friendships are created by your influence on the people who admire your goodness of heart. As we move on with our life, we always tend to have bad experiences from less good people who consider themselves are having principles of their own.

Life never lets us choose people but, what we are making huge difference and influence we have on them inspire our relationship with them. Every individual on this planet is capable of friendship. Larger the circle we have with our good deeds, more influence we can have on them. This leaves us in a place where we are loved and it keeps us from negative effects from this world. We can be productive and make this world a better place to live with our passion for innovation.

The marquee fact of any relationship is the trust and once that is broken, you can never have it back. Everyone do mistakes but greatness remains in those who accept them and apologise for them. Gratitude present in greatness of life. Patience exist who have the power to forgive. Gratience is the key for a successful relationship.
