I have been arguing, dealing and consenting about different ways to give a message for all of us and understanding the difference between the lower class and upper class. Precisely, I just want to consider everything is there at its own level and all are important. We can’t bifurcate between poverty and richness, good and bad, civilized and uncivilized, head and leg, strong and weak or thumb finger and little finger. It is insane to compare fish and monkeys. We all should know that.

The main point I am trying to convey here is, if there is a competition of strength and specialty between, head and toe or thumb and little finger, we cannot say which one is better. So let’s consider a story of, i) Fingers, ii) Body — Fingers story is about competition between all the fingers in our hand, and — Body’s story is about competition between upper body and lower body discussing the importance of their presence. Upper body, insults the lower part without knowing the greatness of it, “Man Lives Above and Legend Lives Downunder.”
Let’s read the stories of it. It might be a religious war but that makes sense to understand the knowledge and make your read worth a while.
Story of Fingers:
We all know, to have 5 fingers Thumb Finger, Fore Finger, Middle Finger, Ring Finger, and Little Finger. Let those 5 fingers be 5 persons. Their name would be, T, F, M, R, L
- Mr. T — Thumb
- Mr. F — Fore
- Mr. M — Middle
- Ms. R — Ring
- Mr. L — Little
Mr. T says, “I am the strongest and I need nobody to support me and I am the primary person to perform the tasks in daily lives.”
Mr. F says, “I am the one who instructs someone to do things. I am the pointer whom you cannot replace. I am different and unique than most of all.”
“If I ever show up and point at someone, you all will be ruined and I am the tallest of you all.” Mr. M laughs and expresses.
Ms. R with all her charms of beauty rose her voice, “I am the most beautiful than you all. You guys need to brace yourselves. I am the main person in your marriages and with me, your efforts will be futile.”
“Great, here it goes we all are important for a cause or the other, but what is your function, Bullock.” kindled by all of the above and asked Mr. L.
Mr. L with a grim face felt sad and kept quiet sometimes. But 4 of them kept humiliating him.
Finally, Mr. L after exactly 4 hours, started talking politely, “I’m looking at the side where I am useless, guys. Even if I am not there it doesn’t make any sense. But, when you want salute someone or to greet somebody of higher class or to show respect, I am the one who shows gratitude to their attitude and personality. My intentions are never vague. When you have to feel the beauty of the river and drink water from it, I will be the one who drowns in the water and drive those small chunks of water into the palm. I pickup things first.”
“I simply represent respect. My behavior determines the prospect of others. Sometimes, children use me to convey that they have to go for a pee.” humorously with a smile in face explained.
“In greeting special people of our life or strangers or while praying, we bow and to do that we use both hands. That time while doing ‘Namaskara’ I come first and you guys stand behind me no matter how special you are. Even when you are saluting army personnel or to your country flag, My presence comes first and behind me, you all will follow.” Says Mr. L with that humbleness in his face.

Takeaway:
We read what they discussed and in the explanation of their jobs and duties, T, F, M, R, L, everybody chose their work and explained. At last, all that matter was the pause that Mr. L took, at last, to explain himself about his function and the importance. Everyone has their own functions and everyone is different from each other but what matters is, how do we convey our presence and the way of presenting ourselves with others explains who we are and how we can stand out in the crowd.
Nobody can be you, there is no one in the history of mankind that there is another you. We just need to know our greatness inside and embrace that greatness with compassion and humility. We don’t get a whole lot of chances to be good in life. Maybe we get 1 chance each day when someone ask you a suggestion, your boss may call for your help, you may get a chance to speak about yourself in your old school or college, an unknown homeless guy asks you to buy him food, or maybe you may ask yourself to be better each day. Embrace all of those opportunities you get daily and act towards it. Never miss a chance when you get to be a good person. Be the one who is worthy to be followed instead of following others and living in other dogma.
One day or the other we all need to bow for one or the other. Even if you are a manager, welcome your employee by telling him, “Thanks for coming to work today, let's change the world.” By holding your hand at the heart and having a smile in your face. You see the difference that he makes in your team and if you do it for all the members in your team, you will see exceptional results. The humbleness comes first and the face which you had your smile, will be remembered all day by your team member. That is what true leaders do.
Let’s drop off to one more story.
Story of Body:
This will be the story of perspective about how we treat lower people in our life by taking a religious example. This will help you to understand how things are considered and how different perspective helps us to understand that we are all down to earth people originated from stardust. One way or the other, we will become what we once were — Elements of Nature.
In the Hindu religion, A human body is considered as 4 different categories defined by their class of work.
- Head: Symbol of thinking at higher levels and considered as the highest level because of wisdom. Symbol of the guide/teacher. (Brahmin)
- Shoulders: The torchbearer or the stage of responsibilities where we carry all the strengths to live our life. Symbol of soldier/king. (Kshatriya)
- Stomach: Symbol of a businessman who executes and digest plans. (Vaishya)
- Legs: Dirty worker. Symbol of a worker who do all the dirty works without distinguishing either of any differences on the ground. (Shudra)
The point here is, Shudra/Sudra is the 4th and lowest traditional class. But why do we touch our elders' feet to take their blessings? What is the real reason to do that? Even though our upper body (Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya) is considered as the top of everything and they are special? This made me curious to understand. So, I dug deep in Hindu religious teachings.
Many religious leaders teach 4 different castes of the Hindu system as the differences in humans themselves but that is not true. That is made to differentiate from their work not by their genetics. In our ancient culture of gurukuls, A teacher was the one who called as Brahmin because of his saintful abilities and his knowledge. They were guiding kings at that time. Kings/Soldiers who fight for a cause to protect their loved ones or their kingdom are considered as Kshatriya. Vaisha was a trader or the wealthiest person who generates income and revenue by implementing business plans. We can call the Board of members of the council. Finally, Sudra comes as a group of people who were performing tasks for the king like a maid, cleaning, maintenance such as all kinds of cleaning works. Sometimes they ever regarded as the group who do dirty works like cleaning toilets building them or even poor people. These classes of people always bowed to their kings and paying taxes for them — Bowing means not like we are dominated by them. It is the way to show respect for the work they are doing — Kings, Guiders, Business people are smart and do hard work to protect their country so that the poor ones can live a happy life.
This principle of classes in Hindu religion is widely misunderstood by false teachers who divide the beliefs of people and use it for their own good.
To answer my question which I had, I researched more and when any person who bow to their elders to take blessings, mostly we can see in every house of Hindu religion that all the younger people will touch the feet of their elders with their 2 hands and the head to show them respect. But to show them respect, they touch the feet itself which are considered as sudra by our religion. Religious fanatics suppress the sudra category as the low graded people. Touching feet of the person means that we are showing the gratitude and the heavy lifting they are taking to survive in this world. Sudra the part is responsible to live an independent life by a person without depending on any others. Touching feet is the symbol of us telling that person, “I am completely into you and I am grateful for your wisdom and experience. I would like to learn from you as much as I can so please bless me with your charm.”

The gratification point here is, we tell each other that nobody are great and the views that people had toward sudra class is not true. Finally, we show our respect to the part which is considered as sudra in our body but why people think in a different way and suppress religion into 4 types instead of separating them with the work they do?
That is what every religion has on this planet. Religion gets deteriorated when people with less wisdom start to teach millions. Dalai Lama from Buddist religion is the people to consult if you want to know about Buddhism. Fathers and Bishops for Christianity, Sufi Saints for Muslims, for Hindu religion there are thousands of babas considered as greats but very few of them are really rare. This is where Hinduism is getting diluted by bad perception and conveying real teaching in a false way. The real teacher is the one who teaches the values of religion in the right way and expecting nothing from it. As I went on to talk about Hinduism with more people who are true followers of it, they say that it is the oldest and the basic religion that was found by humanity and later other religions took birth based on the teachings and different perspective.
When we see the world as to how it is and the reasons for the principles that are governing us, those principles or protocols are designed for a purpose. If those protocols are taught in an untruthful way, real wisdom of knowledge fades away from humanity.
Conclusion:
In this article, I tried to convey 2 messages for our life. There is a life with positive thinking and the influence we need to think positively is, the true perspective. Values and Purposes need to be taught in a truthful way instead of false wisdom.
When we see life as it is, we can be positive. When we ask our instincts to behave as it is with what it is designed for, we understand the true meaning of life.
Humanity grows with the power of togetherness and the knowledge that has been conveyed. We are not immortals. We live our life once and nobody will remember us. The only way we are remembered by the teachings or the research we leave behind. The research you do can drive humanity forward or with the false directions, it can pull us back. So leave a legacy in life that is true. Your work lies in the significance you leave behind.
